DHCBA Calls on Legal Fraternity to Aid Flood-Hit Punjab & Other States

The Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the catastrophic floods affecting Punjab and other regions across India.

The association highlighted the extensive loss of life, destruction of property, and disruption to livelihoods caused by the disaster, urging its members and the wider legal community to contribute towards relief efforts.

PUNJAB GRAPPLES WITH SEVERE FLOODING Punjab continues to reel under the impact of unprecedented flooding, with numerous villages inundated and critical infrastructure damaged. Crops have been destroyed, livestock lost, and several fatalities reported. The floods have also severed connectivity, making rescue and relief operations more difficult. Despite these challenges, authorities remain engaged in providing timely assistance to affected populations.
