West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party, saying “SIR is a huge scam” and the party is opposed to Uniform Civil Code in the state.

She also said that a special sitting of Parliament has been called amid elections and the government is brining Delimitation Bill for which no consultations have been held.
“Elections are going on and in the middle of that, they are bringing Delimitation Bill in Parliament. This was not even debated. The reason behind this is that they want to divide Bengal and conduct NRC here...
Our fight is with ‘Vanish Kumar’ (referring to CEC Gyanesh Kumar)...I reiterate this, BJP will be gone one day very soon,” she said at an election rally.
