DELHI HC CLARIFIES: NO LG ORDER TO STOP DCPCR FUNDING

The Delhi High Court was informed on Friday that the LG Delhi did not issue any order to halt the funding of the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR).

Additionally, it was disclosed that the petitioner commission currently holds funds in excess of five crores.
After acknowledging the submissions made by the counsel for LG Delhi, Justice Subramonium Prasad instructed to file an affidavit.
The Delhi High Court is currently hearing a petition alleging that the LG stopped the funding for DCPCR.
This case was transferred to the Delhi High Court by the Supreme Court.
