Bijli Mahadev ropeway faces local resistance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project Bijli Mahadev Ropeway is being opposed in Himachal Pradesh.
People will protest against it at Dhalpur ground in Kullu today (Friday). Several BJP leaders, including MP Kangana Ranaut and PM Modi's close aide Ram Singh, are also opposing the project.
The Bijli Mahadev Temple of Kullu, has been closed for the first time in history for darshan of common devotees due to the ropeway project. People arriving here from all over the country for the next 6 months will not be able to see Bijli Mahadev by the orders of Dev. This has heated up the political temperature over the ropeway project in Kullu.
