AAP insists on 'win-win' deal with Cong

Talks between the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for an electoral alliance have reached a critical stage, with leaders from both sides favouring the formation of a coalition on one condition: it must be a "win-win" for both parties.

"We both share a desire, a wish, and hope for an alliance. The last date for nominations is September 12, and we will make a decision before then. If we don't reach an agreement or if there is no win-win situation, we will walk away," AAP MP Raghav Chadha told reporters after meeting with the Congress leadership overseeing the state.
The deadline for filing nominations for the elections is September 12, with the option to withdraw nomination papers also closing on the same day.
