The Citizen
|October 03, 2025
Minnie Hauk was drawn in stall No 1 as the final field of 18 was confirmed for Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Paris-Longchamp on Sunday.
-
The race will be run at 16.05.
Japan's leading contenders Byzantine Dream and Croix Du Nord were drawn in two of the four widest slots, while the David O'Meara-trained Estrange had the widest berth of all in 18.
The last Arc winner to emerge from stall No 1 since Zarkava in 2008. Minnie Hauk, the mount of Christophe Soumillon, was supplemented for the race by Aidan O'Brien on Wednesday and heads the betting at 7-2 with Aventure after the draw.
Minnie Hauk is bidding to stretch her unbeaten record this season to five after an Oaks treble in the English, Irish and Yorkshire editions. O'Brien also runs the Wayne Lordan-ridden Los Angeles, who is in stall No 14.
