THRILLS: MARVEL'S ORIGINAL FAMILY RETURNS IN COSMIC STYLE
Marvel's Fantastic Four reboot brings together Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn for a thrilling, visually rich adventure that pits the superhero family against Galactus and the Silver Surfer. It's big, bold and beautiful - but does it bring anything new to the table?
There's something comforting about returning to Marvel's original superhero family. For longtime fans, these four aren't just comic book legends, they're the blueprint of superhero teamwork: brains, beauty, fire and brute strength rolled into one.
In this latest adaptation, directed with cinematic polish and nostalgic flair, Marvel Studios reintroduces Reed Richards (Pascal), Sue Storm (Kirby), Johnny Storm (Quinn) and Ben Grimm (Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most formidable enemies yet: Galactus, the cosmic devourer of worlds, and his silver messenger.
The film opens with a slick, retro-inspired sequence that immediately sets a different tone.
Much like recent X-Men films, it feels like Marvel is rewinding time, not just to explore the characters' origins again, but to give this franchise a timeless edge.
