Coca-Cola Invests in R365m New Bottling Line in SA

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has invested R365 million in a new high-speed bottling line at its Midrand plant.

The company says this is a significant step towards meeting growing consumer demand and driving category growth.
The line, a first for South Africa, can produce 72,000 bottles per hour and will manufacture Bonaqua Pump Still 750ml and Powerade 500ml bottles with a sports cap design. It will also produce Bonaqua Still in 330ml and 500ml packs, and the recently launched Powerade Springboks Edition.
