Aussies lose another prop

The Wallabies could be in for a front row, scrum-time hammering following the news that they have lost another key forward ahead of their trip to South Africa.

The Australians are set to face the Springboks in the first two Rugby Championship Tests of the 2025 competition, in Joburg and Cape Town on 16 and 23 August respectively.

Experienced tighthead prop Taniela Tupou (above) is in doubt for the Ellis Park Test, having hurt his toe in last weekend's third Test in Sydney against the British and Irish Lions. While the front row man is expected to be named in Joe Schmidt's squad today, he is unlikely to play the first of two Tests in South Africa.

This comes on top of the news that Allan Alaalatoa will miss the tour.
