Women encouraged to join transport industry to inspire new generation

A campaign created by women, for women is set to transform perceptions of the transport industry and inspire a new generation to step into careers behind the wheel and beyond.

Inner Qualities, designed and developed by women colleagues at Go North East, was launched last week.

North East Mayor Kim McGuinness and Newcastle United's Demi Stokes joined the women behind the campaign at a special launch, standing alongside the drivers, engineers, managers and graduates who brought it to life.

They unveiled two specially branded campaign buses with a powerful message 'They say she can't. We say she can', aimed to place Women's voices front and centre in an industry they are currently unrepresented.
