WOOP woop! Spring has well and truly sprung. The past couple of weeks have brought some genuinely warm weather and we managed to go more than a few days without a downpour.

Granted things are not looking quite as rosy for the Bank Holiday weekend but I think we can put away our Big Coats for a while.
A lightweight design should hopefully suffice going forward. And if you are looking to buy a new cover-up, it seems the barn jacket is where it’s at. No I didn’t know what one was either but apparently it is the must-have outerwear for spring. Picture Beth Dutton keeping the Montana chill out in TV's Yellowstone or the coats the Noughties ‘it’ girls like to wear for Glasto and you get the idea.
Not sure I could pull one off without looking like I am cosplaying as a Sloane Ranger but if you do fancy one, you can't go wrong with a Barbour. For a cheaper alternative, New Look and Mango have cute ones with contrast collars.
