Two arrested after ‘group fight’ sees street taped off by police

TWO men have been arrested after police were called to reports of a group fight on a residential street.

Emergency services were called to Newcastle's West End shortly before 1.45am on Friday, where two men were found to have been injured.
The men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were taken to hospital for further treatment and have since been discharged.
Following the incident, Vallum Way, in Arthur's Hill, was taped off by Northumbria Police and a cordon remained in place until late on Friday evening. A second cordon was also erected around a grassed area on the corner of nearby St Phillips Way.
