SARA Davies has told fans she has been left “devastated” after being the victim of an online scam that has seen the Dragons’ Den star's face used to promote slimming pills without her permission.

And now she has urged her legions of followers on social media to alert people to the scam, having been contacted by friends who were almost taken in by it.

Over the last few years the successful County Durham entrepreneur and former Strictly contestant, has been very forthcoming online about the steps she's been taking to make positive changes in her life, documenting her running progress and sharing tips and ideas for quick and easily healthy meals and snacks.

So she is quite rightly very angry at the fact that her weight loss, rather than being attributed to all her hard work, is being linked to a slimming pill called Nixol.
