Thug is locked up for breaching restraining order

MAN WAS BANNED FROM CONTACTING EX-PARTNER HE PREVIOUSLY ATTACKED
A THUG who was banned from contacting his ex-partner after beating her up has been jailed for approaching her in a street.
Daniel Lumsden, who has a long history of violence, repeatedly punched the woman in an unprovoked attack in 2023, leaving her injured and terrified.
At a court appearance last year, Lumsden was sentenced to two years in jail, suspended for two years for the assault.
He was also given an indefinite restraining order not to contact the victim or go in specified areas.
But on May 9 this year, the 37-year-old, of Cappercallie Lodge, Annitsford, North Tyneside, breached his restraining order when he approached the woman on a street.
