THIEF 'KNOWN' TO SECURITY STOPPED LEAVING PRIMARK
A CONVICTED robber on licence from prison dashed into a Primark store and made off with £300-worth of clothes.
David Appleby, who has 102 offences on his record, made a “shambolic” attempt to snatch the clobber because his benefits had been sanctioned.
A court heard that the 34-year-old went into the Primark shop on Northumberland Street, in Newcastle City Centre, loaded his bags with goods then tried to run out the store.
