Shopkeepers fight back after robbers raid store

ROBBERS got more than they bargained for when brave shop workers fought back and got the better of them.
Knife-wielding Gary Brown held a knife towards the throat of one worker while Mark Robson helped himself to takings at the family-run store in South Tyneside.
But after initially fleeing outside, the two victims courageously decided to defend their property.
Newcastle Crown Court heard they got the better of the raiders, one of whom ended up "rolled in a ball" on the ground.
