North Tyneside Council's offices at Cobalt Silverlink

NORTH Tyneside residents will be able to have their say on the local authority's budget proposals, including a 4.99% hike on council tax.

Residents have until January to comment on what the council plans to do with its £200m balance sheet.

The local authority has opened up its budget to public scrutiny, including a proposed 2.99% rise in council tax alongside an additional 2% for adult social care.
