PC at taxi rank was 'drunk and abusive'

POLICE OFFICER GIVEN FINAL WARNING FOR MISCONDUCT
A POLICE officer who was abusive while drunk has been handed a final written warning.
PC Sheri Passant, of Northumbria Police, faced a misconduct hearing for her conduct while trying to get a taxi on the Cloth Market in Newcastle city centre.
She was found to have been drunk, argumentative, agitated and abusive to a taxi driver and a taxi marshal, as well as attending police officers, on March 2, 2024.
Video from a body-worn camera showed her behaving in a manner which was argumentative, at times abusive, and she continued despite repeated warnings to stop.

The producers of Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing must have been rubbing their hands with glee when they saw the rough cut of this first episode: a glimpse of the countryside, a nice burst of birdsong, sounds of a man and a woman laughing and then... two people naked in a shower.
