NEW EVENT AND PARTY VILLAGE PLANS ARE ANNOUNCED

New Year's Eve set to be spectacular

A firework display on the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside to celebrate the New Year

NEWCASTLE will see out 2025 and welcome in the New Year in style in December, when spectacular new New Year's Eve event HowayManay brings an array of attractions to the Quayside.

And it will include a dedicated Party Village and culminate in a huge fireworks display as the clock strikes midnight.

Last year ended on a low note when plans to have New Year's Eve fireworks on the Quayside for the first time since before the Covid pandemic were thwarted due to severe weather, with forecasts of high winds up to 70mph forcing the decision to be made to shelve the plans due to safety concerns.
