SUNDAY FOR SAMMY GETS REGIONAL AWARD NOMINATION
THE team behind a much-loved Newcastle show are “thrilled” to be nominated for an award.
Sunday for Sammy - dubbed 'the Geordie command performance' due to its lineup of local stars - is a local favourite and will be making a comeback next year for the first time since Covid.
And now there will be all-round delight at hearing that The Sunday for Sammy Trust, which runs the fundraiser, has been named as a finalist in the 2025 North East Charity Awards.
It is shortlisted in the Uniquely North East category of the annual awards which celebrate the work of charities; the voluntary sector and individuals and companies carrying out invaluable work.
