ANYONE who's visited Newcastle regularly over the past few years can't help but have noticed the huge redevelopments going on at the southern end of the city centre.

The area around Pilgrim Street, Market Street and Worswick Street is undergoing a much-needed revamp with new high-end office and leisure space taking shape before our eyes.
Old, worn-out buildings have been demolished to make way for the new - but high-quality stock, important to the city's heritage, is being retained and repurposed as Newcastle forges ahead into the 21st century.
