Growing chain adds spice to full-up Qube

The sushi and noodle bar Maki & Ramen on Old Eldon Square

Maki & Ramen is already serving up a storm of flavours at a number of restaurants across the UK, having been launched onto the dining scene 10 years ago.

It recently opened its first North East eatery in Newcastle city centre, next to fellow Japanese food firm Wagamama.

There were huge queues when it first opened its doors, in the large building in Old Eldon Square that was most recently occupied by The Big Greek.

Now the Metrocentre is set to welcome the new taste sensation after Maki & Ramen bosses signed up for a restaurant in the Upper Yellow Mall.
