Glowing rating for care home

A GOSFORTH care home has been given a glowing rating by Care Quality Commission inspectors, who said that staff were “extremely passionate” about ensuring residents avoided feeling socially isolated.

The team at Melton House, operated by Prestwick Care, were praised across the board by the inspection team.

Other positives in the report included that: “There was a positive culture and atmosphere at the home and visitors were welcomed with no restrictions.”
