NEWCASTLE United winger Anthony Elanga is back on Tyneside after leaving the Sweden camp for “personal reasons”.

The Chronicle understands that Elanga is now preparing for Saturday night's game with Manchester City after being cleared to do so with the Swedish FA.

Elanga departed the Sweden squad before their dead rubber World Cup qualifier with Slovenia but the winger is said to be fine and in good spirits despite his departure from his home country.
