Drug dealer caught out by unique tattoo

A DRUG dealer who had the word “ouch” tattooed on his foot has seen his downfall brought about by the unique ink.
Police officers discovered that Dean Matthews, 46, had a main role in the supply and distribution of cocaine throughout the South Tyneside, Sunderland and Durham area.
Officers linked Matthews to offences by a distinctive tattoo of the word “ouch” on his foot, which he sent a picture of via messages on an “EncroChat” encrypted mobile device, which he used to coordinate drug deals. The plot was uncovered between March 2020 and May 2020, with the drugs totalling 22kg with a street value of £803,000.
