Dobie setting his sights

CHRIS Dobey is gearing up for Christmas at the Alexander Palace - and has thrown his weight behind Prostate Cancer UK and Paddy Power ahead of the World Darts Championship.

The Ally Pally spectacular starts on December 11 and ‘Hollywood’, who knows several people from his home town of Bedlington affected by the most common cancer in men, will join the Professional Darts Corporation players as they aim to again raise crucial funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK.

It's all part of Paddy Power's The Even Bigger 180 campaign for 2025/26, where, following the success of The Big 180 and The Bigger 180 campaigns, the PDC and Sky Sports are again joining Prostate Cancer UK as partners for the hugely successful fundraising initiative.

Dobey pinned 41 maximums in last year’s tournament and 43 in 2023/24 - making an impressive £84,000 donation to date.
