Chemsdine Talbi celebrates his dramatic late winner at Stamford Bridge
Talbi was a second-half substitute and scored in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge after being set up by Brian Brobbey.
“I am really happy to have my first goal for this club,” the 20-year-old Morocco international told safc. com.
“We need to be proud of the game.
“Also, thank you to the fans. They showed that they have a great mentality. We don’t play with 11, we play with 12 and we had a great connection”
Regis Le Bris’ side showed determination and fight to keep out a persistent Blues team before going on to score the winner in the dying embers of the game.
Talbi ran unmarked into the box to sweep home after Brian Brobbey had held the ball up all on his own against two defenders, sparking delirious scenes among away supporters in the Shed End.
“I don’t think about pressure. I've played in big stadiums and big environments,’ added Talbi.
