A RESTAURANT in Newcastle has announced its permanent closure just months after it was included in the Michelin Guide.
In a statement posted to social media, Hide, on Chillingham Road in Heaton, told customers of the decision “with much sadness and a heavy heart” as waves of support quickly flooded in.
Sister restaurant Nest across the street still remains, however Hide, which was the only one of 16 restaurants added to the guide in July from the North East, has closed its doors.
