24 years in prison for cocaine conspiracy trio

THREE men involved in a cocaine conspiracy in the North East as part of an organised crime group have been jailed for a total of 24 years.
Jason Campbell Gaetano Manco Ross McMullen
Gaetano Manco, Ross McMullen and Jason Campbell were brought to justice after the illicit scheme was uncovered by officers investigating as part of Operation Venetic.
Two of the three men communicated via an 'EncroChat' encrypted mobile device to coordinate dealing large quantities of cocaine throughout the region.
Manco played a leading role in the conspiracy by sourcing large quantities of cocaine to sell, while McMullen was responsible for receiving and distributing the drugs.
Campbell acted as a courier, moving both drugs and criminal cash as part of the conspiracy.
