ON THE eve of the winners announcement for 2025, Cheshire Lieutenancy ran a successful workshop for over 60 organisations, large and small, considering making an application for a King's Award for Enterprise for 2026.

Workshop a success

A King’s Award for Enterprise is the highest official UK award for outstanding achievement by UK businesses.

This year King’s Awards for Enterprise saw 199 businesses recognised nationally across all four categories nationwide; 116 for International Trade, 46 for Innovation, 27 for Sustainable Development and 10 for Promoting Opportunity through Social Mobility.

Cheshire organisations submitted 21 applications and received seven awards which was on a par with last year.
