June 05, 2025

THE High Sheriff of Cheshire Joëlle Warren is calling on families, friends and workplace teams across Cheshire to lace up their walking shoes for a powerful cause.

The Walk for Families: The High Sheriff of Cheshire’s Sponsored Walk 2025 takes place on Saturday, September 27 at Chester Racecourse and everyone is welcome to take part.

Whether you're a seasoned walker or prefer a gentle stroll, there’s a route for you: choose from two miles, five miles, a half marathon at 13 miles or a full marathon of 26 miles around the racecourse track.

Families (including children and grandparents), community groups and workplace teams are encouraged to walk together in support of local families facing unexpected challenges.
