Joe returns to Superbike racing after bad injury

JOE FRANCIS will make his return to racing in the Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship this season after a late deal to be back on the grid with Victor Racing on the Yamaha R1 Superbike.

Francis will make his first appearance with the team from the second round at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia (30 May - 1 June) as he prepares to be reunited with the Superbike again.
A serious collision in 2024 whilst racing in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship left Francis recovering from injury for the remainder of the year.
The Cheshire-based contender had shown real promise in the Supersport category; now he pursues his earlier ambitions to win within the Superbike class with his former team.
