England call up for javelin ace Harriet

HARRIET WHEELER will represent England on Sunday at Loughborough.
The West Cheshire Athletic Club member will participate in the javelin at the Ron Pickering Memorial International against teams from Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Loughborough Students.
Harriet warmed up for her international appearance at the weekend with a winning throw in the under 20 women's javelin competition at Leigh Sports Village in the second round of the Under 17 and Under 20 Youth Development Track and Field League.
Harriet was joined in the winners circle at Leigh by club mates Arwen Thorne, Dun Xue, Niamh Le'Gall, Nancy Farmer, Kara Stoll, Nathan Owen, Seb Whiteley, Beth Manson, Sidney Shorrock, and Satine Wearden.
