Zepto appoints Ankit Agarwal as chief product officer

Ankit Agarwal has been promoted to chief product officer at Zepto, the rapid commerce company that recently became this year's first unicorn in India.Zepto's complete product management, from customers to the supply chain and last-mile deliveries, would fall under Agarwal's purview. We create trends instead of following them. I'm thrilled to be a part of the group that is transforming Indian business, added Agarwal.

Zepto, which is backed by Y Combinator-backed, became the first Indian startup this year to be valued at more than $1 billion and achieve unicorn status. The company raised $200 million in a Series E funding round led by the StepStone Group at a $1.4 billion valuation, making it India's 110th unicorn.
Agarwal, who joined Zepto in August 2022 as senior vice president of product, has worked with Flipkart, Delhivery and Infra market before.
