Torrent Power’s shares surged 13.5 percent on the BSE, reaching a new high of Rs 1,071.6 on 06 January in intra-day trade following the signing of a Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) for projects valued at Rs 47,350 crore with the Gujarat government. Over the past two months, the stock has outpaced the market, rising by 38 percent, surpassing its previous record high of Rs 1,045.35 on 07 December 2023.
