Tesla has halted production at its German factory after electrical cables powering the plant were set on fire in an alleged act of "sabotage" by a farleft group, as reported by AI Jazeera. The incident occurred near the Tesla plant, southeast of Berlin, prompting an early response from emergency personnel.
Reports indicated a burning electricity pylon near the Tesla plant, resulting in the summoning of emergency personnel on Tuesday. Although the fire was extinguished, the electric car factory in the state of Brandenburg and nearby communities experienced a loss of electricity due to damage to the power cables. Police have launched an investigation into suspected arson.
