Supreme Court Grants Interim Relief: 'Ready to Apologize, Compensation', Says Telugu Actor Mohan Babu in Case for Assaulting Journalist

The Supreme Court in the Manchu Mohan Babu versus The State of Telangana and Anr observed and has granted interim relief to Telugu actor Mohan Babu by ordering that no coercive actions need to be taken by the police against him in the case for assaulting a journalist.

The allegations made before the court were that he took a wireless mic from a TV9 journalist correspondent and threw it on him, causing grievous injuries.
The bench comprising Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra was hearing the present matter.
The bench in the case observed and has issued notice, which is returnable in 4 weeks in a Special Leave Petition filed by Babu against the order dated December 23, wherein the Telangana High Court denied him anticipatory bail.
