Supreme Court dismisses FCI's petition with Rs 50K cost: 'Cannot waste court's time'

The Supreme Court in the case The Food Corporation Of India And Anr versus. Namita Paul observed and has imposed the cost for an amount of Rs. 50,000 on the Food Corporation of India, FCI and Divisional Manager each.

The court in the case dismissed the special leave petition.

The court in the case remarked that the filing of the SLP should not have been advised.

The bench comprising of Justice Bela M. Trivedi and Satish Chandra Sharma was hearing the present matter.

The bench remarked that it would impose the cost for an amount of Rs 50,000 on the petitioners.
