Rahul Gandhi emphasises peace in Manipur after meeting Governor Uikey

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, embarked on a two-day visit to Manipur on Thursday with the aim of addressing the prevailing violence that has plagued the state.

As part of his itinerary, Gandhi met with Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Friday in Imphal to discuss the dire situation and chart a path towards peace. Expressing deep concern for the welfare of the people of Manipur, Gandhi emphasized the urgent need for stability in the state. Following his meeting with Governor Uikey, the Congress leader conveyed his determination to undertake all possible measures to restore peace in the violence-hit region.
