PSB Manthan 2025 unites leaders to shape PSBs' future

PSB Manthan 2025 in Gurugram brought banking leaders and experts together to shape the future of public sector banks.
The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, organised PSB Manthan 2025, a two-day programme that concluded on Saturday in Gurugram. The event, chaired by the Secretary of DFS, brought together the senior leadership of Public Sector Banks, along with regulators, industry experts, academicians, technologists, and banking practitioners.
Eminent speakers included Swaminathan J, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India; V Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India; M Damodaran, Former Chairman, SEBI; Debasish Panda, Former Chairman, IRDAI; former Deputy Governors of RBI—R Gandhi, NS Vishwanathan, and MK Jain; and former Chairmen of SBI Rajnish Kumar and Dinesh Kumar Khara, along with several other distinguished leaders from the financial sector, industry, academia, and technology.
In the opening remarks, the Secretary, Financial Services, underlined that Public Sector Banks have moved beyond the phase of survival and stability and are now positioned to play a larger role as champions of growth, innovation, and leadership in the journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.
