KERALA HIGH COURT: GRANTED INTERIM ANTICIPATORY BAIL TO KSU LEADER ANSIL JALEEL IN CASE ALLEGING FOR FORGERY OF DEGREE CERTIFICATE

The Kerala High Court in the case Ansil v. State of Kerala observed and has granted interim anticipatory bail to Kerala Students Union, KSU State Convenor Ansil Jaleel, wherein it is allege dby him alleging for forgery of degree certificate.

The Single bench headed by Justice Ziyad Rahman A.A in the case observed and has directed Jaleel to appear before the Investigation Officer within a week.
It has been stated by the said court that Jaleel shall be released on bail on execution of a bond for the amount of Rs. 50,000/-, in the event of his arrest.
However, the said case surfaced when a Malayalam newspaper published an article wherein alleging Jaleel to have forged a degree certificate from Kerala University to secure employment at Muthoot Finance, a private financial institution.
Therefore, the said news report gained the significant traction and was extensively discussed on various media platforms. Thus, Jaleel appeared before various news medias and has denied the allegations.
