INDIA, FRANCE CONDUCT JOINT MILITARY EXERCISE 'SHAKTI' ON JUNGLE SURVIVAL

In nthe ongoing 7th edition of Joint Exercise Shakti, the Indian and French armies collaborated on drills and shared expertise in jungle survival techniques.
-
The exercise also focused extensively on mountain survival techniques for self-preservation. Started on May 13 at the Joint Training Node in Umroi, Meghalaya, this edition of the India-France Joint Military Exercise "Shakti" is currently underway.
The exercise aims to enhance the joint military capacity of both sides to undertake Multi-Domain Operations in a sub-conventional scenario.
