The approval aims to provide additional support to farmers in getting essential Phosphatic and Potassic fertilisers.

On February 29, The Union Cabinet, approved the proposal to fixed the Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates for the upcoming kharif season of 2024, slated to run from April 1 to September 30, concerning Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilisers. Additionally, the scheme will now encompass three new fertiliser grades.
