Five held as EAGLE force busts major interstate drug racket, drugs worth Rs1.52 crore seized

In a major crackdown on interstate drug trafficking, the Telangana EAGLE (Elite Action Group for Law Enforcement)
Force, in coordination with Bhadradri Kothagudem District Police and Rachakonda Commissionerate, seized a huge consignment of narcotics and arrested five drug offenders in two separate cases. Police recovered 304 kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1.52 crore and 19 grams of MDMA during the operation.Acting on credible intelligence, sleuths of the RNCC Khammam unit of the EAGLE Force, along with Dammapet Police, conducted vehicle checking at Achyutapuram Adda Road on the Ashwaraopet-Dammapet border. During the operation, police intercepted a mini lorry and a car that was escorting it. The vehicles were travelling
