Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Syed Naseer Hussain has submitted a notice under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha, seeking a suspension of regular proceedings to discuss the implications of the Election Commission's ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.
The Monsoon Session of Parliament, which commenced today, is expected to see heated debates as the Opposition INDIA bloc raises several critical issues, including this controversial revision exercise.
