CM Revanth Reddy Promises Major Reforms for Telugu Film Industry and Cine Workers

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy assured comprehensive support for the welfare of cine workers and the growth of the Telugu film industry during a felicitation program organized by various film workers’ unions in Hyderabad.
Revanth Reddy recalled the vision of former Chief Minister Marri Chenna Reddy, who played a key role in shifting the Telugu film industry from Chennai to Hyderabad. “Chenna Reddy Garu worked tirelessly to bring the industry here, consulting stalwarts like NT. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and Krishna to encourage the move,” he said.
He also paid tribute to Dr. Prabhakar Reddy, who donated 10 acres of his own land in Manikonda for cine workers, facilitating the establishment of Chitrapuri Colony. “Our artists and technicians work relentlessly, day and night. I understand your struggles,” the Chief Minister stated.
