CM Orders Urgent Bridge Repair Estimates, Monsoon Readiness Reviewed in Panchkula

Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini ordered to immediately send the estimate report of Shyamtu Amrala and Site Number 53 Barwala to Mauli Tangri bridge which were closed for vehicular movement due to the porous condition in Panchkula district.
The Chief Minister was chairing a meeting of District Deputy Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of Police/Superintendents from across the state through video conferencing from Chandigarh today.
The Chief Minister said that public safety comes first. He said that whatever work is necessary on both the bridges should be done as soon as possible and the estimate report should be sent immediately. In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Monica Gupta had given information about these two bridges, on which the Chief Minister took immediate cognizance and asked for the said report.
