BJP Chief Assures Centre's Help for Flood-Hit Himachal

In light of the historic loss, JP Nadda, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, stated on Sunday that the center was committed to providing significant help to Himachal Pradesh.

”He (the PM) guaranteed that efforts would be made to ensure the first payment of the interim assistance would be released as soon as possible. Nadda reaffirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to providing the state with steadfast support in these trying times. JP Nadda stated in the release, “He said that it is the resolve of the Union Government in reducing the losses sustained and ensuring appropriate finances for recovery.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, JP Nadda and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur here today convened a detailed discussion to address the extensive damage caused by a recent disaster in Himachal Pradesh, the government informed through an official statement.
During the meeting, the CM provided a comprehensive overview of the destruction wreaked upon the state by the calamity.
