Union Home Minister Amit Shah contacted the Chief Ministers of Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Mizoram, discussing their ongoing challenges with the aftermath of Cyclone Remal.

He subsequently updated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation in these states following the cyclone.
The Home Minister took detailed information about the situation in all the five north-east states during his separate in separate telephonic conversations with respective Chief Ministers.
The Home Minister assured the Chief Ministers of all possible help from the Central government.
The Home Minister expressed deep concern about the aftermath of cyclone Remal in a social media post on X.
