Adani Foundation donates Rs 25 cr for Andhra flood relief

AHMEDABAD The Adani Group, The through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, the Adani Foundation, has made a significant contribution of Rs 25 crore to Andhra Pradesh, a state severely affected by recent floods.

The devastating torrential rains have led to widespread destruction, and the Adani Group's aid is aimed at supporting relief and rebuilding efforts in the state.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani expressed his concern about the extent of the damage caused by the flooding. "Deeply troubled by the extensive damage caused by the recent torrential rains and flooding in Andhra Pradesh. The Adani Group stands in solidarity with the people of Andhra Pradesh and humbly extend our support through the Adani Foundation with a contribution of Rs 25 Cr to the relief effort," he wrote. Adani also posted a photograph of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited.
